I think this is great. Recently, we added a second Xbox360 to our household so that old dad (me) could get his game on (my son will just love that I just said that). While I've done some gaming, I've really been digging the Windows Media Center (WMC) thing and the Netflix add-on. WMC allows you to stream content from other computers on your network to the Xbox360. Netflix streams movies (of course) *and* many TV shows to your Xbox360. Now, Holnam has an interactive Bible reader for the Xbox360 which I will definitely get. I anticipate seeing a lot more of this type of content sourcing coming to the Xbox360.

I've not had my Xbox360 long, but what I've come to realize is that I spend a lot of time with that thing connected. I still have the laptop at the ready, but I am struck by the potential for the Xbox360 to become the interactive tv-centric device that some tech-gurus have been predicting for years. Who knows if it will go that far, but certainly adding the two most widely used social platforms can't hurt.
